Steps

Select your dress
Choose a dress made of durable fabric. Cotton or linen work best. Ensure it is clean and free of damage.
Measure and cut
Measure the desired length and width for your apron. Mark the sections of the dress to be cut, including the apron body, straps, and pockets if desired. Use fabric chalk for marking.
Cut the fabric
Carefully cut the marked sections of the dress using fabric scissors. Be precise to ensure a neat finish.
