Steps

Gather Materials and Tools
Assemble all the necessary materials and tools including old dishes, a marker, a ruler, safety gear, a glass cutter or tile cutter, sandpaper, felt pads, and clear sealant.
Measure and Mark Dishes
Using a ruler and marker, measure and mark the desired size of your coasters on the old dishes. Standard coaster size is usually around 4x4 inches.
Cutting the Dishes
