Gather Materials and Tools

Collect all necessary materials and tools including old hardback books, metal brackets, screws, wall anchors, and a stud finder.

Using the stud finder, locate the studs in the wall where you plan to mount your shelves. Mark the drill points on the wall and on the books.

Drill holes into the marked points on the books and the wall.

Secure the metal brackets to the wall using screws and wall anchors. Ensure they are level and properly secured.

Place the books onto the brackets and secure them with additional screws if necessary.
