Crafting Coasters from Denim

Prepare Denim Fabric

Cut the denim fabric from old jeans into square or circular pieces, each measuring about 4 inches. This will form the base of your coasters.

Trim Edges (Optional)

For a cleaner look, trim the edges of the fabric pieces using pinking shears. This helps to prevent fraying.

Layer Fabric

Place two pieces of denim on top of each other for each coaster, ensuring both pieces align perfectly.

Sew around the Edges

Using a needle and thread or a sewing machine, stitch around the edges of the denim pieces. Leave a small allowance of about 1/4 inch from the edge.

Finish the Coaster
