Leader of China Asks For Japanese Help On Environment
Hu Jintao who is the president of China voice his hopt that Japan would be able to share their environmental technology with China on Friday May 9, 2008. This came about when Hu Jintao took a tour of one of the best recycling factories around.
While Hu Jintao was on a visit to the country of Japan in order to mend the ties between Asia’s two largest economies. While China’s president, Hu Jintao was in Japan he went to the Kawasaki PET Bottle Recycling Factory. You can find this factory near Tokyo and it processes used bottles and also electronic devices.
Hu Jintao states that he would like to introduce the advanced technologies that Japan has into the environment of China. Hu Jintao also added that he will be focusing mostly on green businesses. China has been rapidly growing for the past years as the economy soars and this is what is posing some concern for the neighbors such as South Korea and Japan.
On Wednesday, May 7, 2008 Yasuo Fukuda who is the Japanese Prime Minster and Hu Jintao agreed that they would be working together in order to fight global warming in a summit that will be mostly focusing on some general themes of reconciliation. It is no lie that China and Japanese has had some not so good relations all because of the legacy of Japanese aggression in China and this was before World War II.
