In the European countries, the awareness for recycling is very high and this can be seen through actions of the Audi car company. Since recycling is the process of re-using the material that will otherwise be thrown out, the car company has taken it upon themselves to cut down on scrap. They get their components and parts in recycled boxes. While making cars, they have gone beyond technology using non metallic parts which in turn results in lesser scrap or throw away parts. This also ensures that the parts can be replaced without worrying about what to do with the damaged or repaired ones.
The Audi car company adheres to the EU Directive 2005/64/EC which is required for approval of cars made in connection with the parts used in manufacturing of cars. It is important these days to ensure that vehicles made from 2010 need to use only recyclable material. This is so it is environment friendly and generates more energy. Audi has been amending to this rule since a while ago and this has been confirmed by the Agency for Federal Motor vehicle registration.
Each car is examined to see the amount of plastic or metal used in it to see if they comply with the norms. In Audi, the cars all are high on energy and low on usage of metal and other product that cannot be recycled. A company conscious about the environment has also been organizing and participating in various recoverable vehicles and recycling related seminars.
