Cornwall e-waste company awarded again

A company based n Cornwall was recently awarded its third awards scheme in the past year, earning a hat trick for the WEEE processing company.

The Electronic Waste Company’s Managing Director was the award recipient. Damian Lambkin was named the Young Business Person of the Year this year in the Cornwall Business awards.

Last year, the British Chamber of Commerce named the Electronic Waste Company the “Most Promising New Business” in the region. Nor is this the first award for Mr. Lambkin was named the “Best Individual” in the Cornwall Sustainability Awards.

Under the A1 Compliance brand, the Electronic Waste Company operates the only WEEE compliance scheme in the South West. The company hopes to be able to expand its business in the near future to other areas of Britain including the Midlands and North Wales. In order to do so, the company will rely upon joint ventures with specialist processing and brokering enterprises.
