Mobile Phone Exchange relaunches online recycling service

The Mobile Phone Exchange Ltd recently announced that it would be launching their online mobile phone buyback service once more. The service allows customers to trade in their used mobile phone and have it recycled.

The online service has already met a strong popular response. One of the highlights of the scheme is the amount consumers are awarded for their trade in. Many companies offer a flat rate of £10 to recycle old phones. The Mobile Phone Exchange’s online program awards up to £150, depending on the phone.

Customers can go online and obtain and individual quote for the specific make and model of their old mobile phone. They are provided with free postage and a free bag in order to send their phone to the Mobile Phone Exchange. Customers generally receive their money in exchange within seven days.

There are an estimated 90 million old phones sitting around houses, collecting dust in drawers which can now be traded in for money.

There is a strong demand in the developing world for old models of mobile phones but many do not have the funds to purchase the technology. Using mobile phones enables many people to gain access to communication technology without the expensive investment of laying phone lines.
