PlastiPure Introduces First Estrogenic Free Plastics

PlastiPure is introducing a plastic completely free of estrogenics, a toxin found in most plastics which has been linked with a variety of health problems including breast and ovarian cancer in women and prostate cancer and altered sperm count in men. With the growing concern of the effects of such additives in many plastic products, this Texas company has taken a major step in producing a safer, more environmentally friendly plastic.

With all of the concern about the effects on the environment and on our health from toxins that are being produced by products, such as plastic, this move is a welcomed one. PlastiPure is the first company to release a plastic free of activity from these harmful additives that mimic the effects of estrogen on the human body, throwing our natural hormonal state off balance. The PlastiPure team introduced the new safer plastic in Chicago at the All Things Organic (ATO) trade show.

The new product line will consist of 4 oz and 32 oz bottles and will be available in May of this year with the hopes of offering more products in the future. Consumers will be able to identify this healthier and safer alternative by the CertiChem certified sticker on the bottom of the bottles. CertiChem is responsible for the testing and certification that insures that there is no estrogenic activity in the plastic.
