Warwickshire Will Reduce Price for Business Waste

Companies in Warwickshire, UK can now recycle their waste cardboard and paper at a reduced price.
Warwickshire county council has launched a reduced trade waste price for cardboard and paper at two of its household waste recycling centres.
Companies who would like to recycle their waste cardboard and paper are now able to drop off their recyclables at a reduced price of £10 per load at Princes Drive Recycling Centre, Leamington Spa and Hunters Lane Recycling Centre, Rugby when the site reopens after refurbishment in the spring.
In the past, there was a minimum charge of £25 at Princes Drive Recycling Centre.
Councillor Martin Heatley, Warwickshire county council’s portfolio holder for the environment, stated: “The scheme has been introduced to help and encourage businesses to recycle as much of their waste as possible. Companies depositing cardboard and paper will not be charged landfill rates, but reduced rates to reflect the value of the material.”
