A new company in Canada has become the country’s fastest growing direct-from-consumers precious metals recycling firm.
Today the firm announced that it will be opening several more store fronts as the increasing popularity of gold and silver recycling becomes widespread throughout Canada. Recycle Frog will host a series of public events to kick off the store openings beginning today and carrying on until the store fronts have been opened.
Like many firms in the industry, Recycle Frog has filled a large gap in the marketplace for jewellery owners look to dispose of old or unwanted jewellery responsibly. By buying gold and silver items, the firm either resells the items or melts them down to recycle the precious metals.
According to President of the group, Matthew MacQuarrie, the firm is looking to extend into New Brunswick and the Maritimes and offer their services to a wider audience. He added that the company provides a professional service for those looking to gain financially by recycling their unwanted gold and silver.
With the economic depression ongoing, many have been forced to cut back on luxuries and selling unwanted jewellery has been a good way for many to make much-needed cash during the recession. Precious metal recycling firms have seen a resurgence in gold recycling as the economic downturn affects the pockets of millions across the globe.
According to MacQuarrie, the unprecedented demand recently for services has caused Recycle Frog’s in-person metal evaluation services to tap into a previously untouched market in New Brunswick. Recycling Frog will also bring its Gold Drive to the community. The Gold Drive offers community residents a chance to fundraise for local and nationally recognised charities by donating unwanted gold and silver items.
