Full Circle Wireless has new CEO

Recently Full Circle Wireless announced the hiring of a new General Manager and CEO.  Full Circle Wireless, which is one of the biggest recyclers and resellers of used wireless devices and accessories, announced that Shelton Basham will take over as both General Manager and CEO.  The aim of Full Circle Wireless is to help businesses be more environmentally conscious by offering schemes in which they can recycle their used electronic devices, specifically wireless devices.  E-waste has become a critical environmental issue, especially in the United Kingdom where landfills have increased to levels that many fear will make it difficult for the United Kingdom to reach many of the recycling and waste management goals outlined by the European Union.

Basham, who was one of the original founders of Full Circle Wireless, is expected to enact additional and unique recycling schemes across the United States and hopefully extending into the rest of the world.  Full Circle Wireless has been an important player in the fight against e-waste, specifically mobile phone devices which can be particularly damaging to the environment.  Mobile phone batteries often leak into landfills, which can eventually lead to the contamination of drinking water.  Full Circle Wireless directly keeps used electronics from landfills by offering money to customers for their used devices.  Studies have shown that people are much more likely to recycle mobile devices if there is incentive to do so.

After purchasing the mobile phones Full Circle Wireless then resells them to customers or sends them along for recycling.  Some mobile phone parts can be valuable in the making of medical equipment.
