If you were to talk to workers at recycling plants, rubbish dumps, and landfills around the world they would likely have some wild stories to tell about the things they’ve seen or found. Every manner of human waste eventually finds one of these places, which makes working at a recycling plant or landfill one of the more interesting, albeit sometimes disgusting jobs a person could have. Employees could likely spend hours telling you about the things they have found and may even revel in being part of the secret world of the things people throw away. However, even the most seasoned veteran could not possibly be prepared to find what was found in a Greenstar UK recycling plant in Addlethorpe.
Police are still investigating the horrifying discovery of a dead baby in a recycling plant in Addlethorpe last October. Police announced today that they are now offering a five thousand pound reward to anyone who can give information about the location of the baby’s mother. Nationwide appeals have been made by police for the mother to step forward, or for someone who has information to come forward with it, but thus far they have no leads on the identity of the baby’s mother. The police have compiled a DNA profile of the mother but have yet to find a match in their database.
A spokesman for the police said that this was the first time that they had offered a reward in a case that was still under investigation. Not only is the mother wanted for questioning police are also concerned that she may have suffered serious injuries during the birth.
