Recycling of metal is possible, with little intervention

For a process to work well, it needs adequate support and guidance from people governing it. But if they are going to put down too many red tapes and restrictions, it becomes difficult to go forward. This holds true for both good and bad deeds that a person wants to do. If we were to talk about recycling, in UK alone, nearly 5billion pounds of metal products have been added to the recycling targets. It is necessary for the UK government to realize its significance on the economy and the overall health of the country. The President of British Metal Recyclers association, Peter Brookes addressed the members stating that the obstacles placed in their way are reasons why they are not very successful.

Being part of the Brookes Recycling Group, he spoke about how nearly 15million pounds of metal is being recycled every year and that the new shipping laws and government policies are hampering this process from getting better. In order to meet the electronic waste and vehicles recycling targets, it is important to encourage people and businesses to recycle their metal products and parts. In a construction site, the person in charge goes through various regulations and laws that tie his hands and don’t allow him to build as per his wish. Similarly, the recycling groups are unable to proceed because of the shipping controls put in place recently. Prevention of dumping waste which is controlled by shipping is going to harm the recycling process of the country
