Next month’s Total Print! Expo (TPE), promises to bring a bevy of new and exciting products to the print world. Many issues and topics will be addressed; hopefully ink and toner cartridge recycling will be among them.
Two of the big draws to TPE this year are the new VersaUV LEC-300 printer and cutter and the 64″ VersaArt RS-640 printer. According to Roland, the VersaUV LEC-300 is “the world’s first UV inkjet printer and cutter”. The UV versatility adds a great deal to this 30″ printer, enabling it to print the standard CMYK, plus white and clear coat. The printer can be used on a diverse array of substrates. The 64” VersaArt RS-640 was create to produce various types of signage, from posters to outdoor banners.
Roland DG Managing director Jerry Davies has stated that the production of the VersaUV LEC- 300 printer model has allowed the company’ to expand into new markets, such as “packaging prototyping, short-run label production and a host of niche applications”.
He added: “We look forward to introducing these exciting technologies to the market and discussing how they can give our customers a competitive advantage.”
TPE will be held on 14-16 October at Earls Court 2, London. Roland DG will be exhibiting on stand 316, with new equipment on hand as well as additional specifications and information.
In addition to new equipment, TPE offers free advice seminars. To learn more about Roland DG and TPE, visit the TPE forum located on printweek.com.
