If you are living at the nearby Tendring District Council, always remember that you are the one responsible for your own refuse and recycling until the time it is going to be collected. Also remember that you should avoid putting out your garbage too early, since there will be possibilities that it can be torn by the animals or can cause obstructions.
Once a year, the council will be delivering rubbish sacks in between the months of January and March. Each of the domestic properties can receive about 52 sacks, which is one for every week of the year.
Remember that the council, unfortunately, cannot supply additional sacks if you do not have stocks of it before the next delivery or perhaps you were moving to another property. But despite of it, you can purchase black sacks within any of the Council’s cash offices or perhaps at the supermarkets.
If you have garden waste on your property that you cannot get rid off at your nearest household recycling site, heading to the council’s contractors, Veolia Environmental Services, is the best option you can do. The waste that is mostly filled in here are green garden wastes, which are placed out for collection with your household waste on your normal refuse collection day. If ever you want to buy some garden waste, you can contact the council.
The council collects recycling every week from all the domestic properties in the district. All the properties nearby the council are being supplied with green plastic boxes to be used for storing recyclables until it is collection day.
