Recycle Waste Falkirk Council Recycling Program

For many years, residents in Falkirk have been sending their waste to the landfill. What this means is that the resources that are valuable, such as paper, plastic bottles, and cans, have been being thrown away. Instead of throwing these items away, you may want to think about recycling them.

Did you know that sending all of your waste to the landfill is bad? In fact, if you send all of your waste to the landfill, you will be contributing to some severe damage on the environment. Falkirk Council would like you to know that there have been some new laws created to try to stop further damage of the environment.

Have you ever heard of the saying Reduce, Reuse and Recycle? These three words are part of the laws that mean you have to start recycling as much waste as you can in Falkirk, as well as throughout some of the other places in the world.

Falkirk Council will tell you that there are many ups recycling waste. When you recycle waste, you will be helping to save energy, reduce the need for landfills, and save the natural resources of the environment. So where do those recycled items go?

You see, when those recycled items are collected, they will be on their way to processing plants. At these recycling plants, the cans will be made into new cans, building materials, and sheet metal. Paper will be recycled into newsprint, along with some other paper products. Plastic bottles will be made into garden furniture and new plastic products. Then last, the garden waste will be taken to the composting facility where it will be used for soil conditioner.
