If you live in the area of Ards, then Ards Borough Council and their recycling techniques are great to consider. Today, there are tons of people that are following their recycling procedures, because they know it will help save the earth.
To everyone’s amazement, by the end of the year 2005, Ards successfully met its first big target to recycle. The target that was set for Ards was to recycle 25% of household waste before the end of 2005. Today in Ards, there are tougher targets, which are in dire need to be met, so Ards Borough Council needs your help today if you live in that area.
You may not realize it, but there is an increase in landfill costs, so Ards Borough Council is coming up with some recycling schemes to try to get other individuals that are not recycling to start recycling. Options for recycling for the local people are starting to become a major role in Ards Borough Council, as there is a new 40% target that must be met.
Ards Borough Council has started an alternate weekly collection system, which seems to be a pretty good idea. They are giving out grey, blue, and brown bins. The grey bins will be taken up one week, and the blue bins will be taken the next week. Also, the brown bins will be collected fortnightly. The blue bins are for dry recyclables, and the brown bins are for garden and kitchen waste. If you follow the proper procedures that Ards Borough Council has given you, then Ards will be able to reach their 40% mark.
