Win £100 ready for xmas competition

I think recycling is important because it is an easy and rewarding way of using your rubbish to help the environment, it is also a great role model to our children who are the next generation. Teach them young!

everybodies responsibility

We are committing global suicide. It is everybody’s responsibility to do their best the reduce reuse and recycle. We the consumer can put pressure on companies and the government to be more eco friendly.

Recycling saves goods from going to landfill and makes us think more about the 'throw-away' culture of today. When I was younger, I used to be embarrassed that my dad was the type to get 'useful' things out of skips and ask the neighbours if he could have their old double glazing! Now I'm proud of him and follow his example.

Talking Consumerism and the environment

In a consumerist society where everything you could ever want is readily available at the click of a button, and technological breakthroughs, product upgrades and new 'improved' versions are being brought to market on a daily basis, there is more waste than ever before.

Recycling is important to protect our environment from the effects of growing landfill sites that become the home to our unwanted items. By recycling items, both the environment and society benefit, as there is less waste and the new owner is able to fulfil a need without turning to the shops and therefore encouraging further production of items that in reality may not be required.

Why Recycling is Important

I think recycling is important because it's not just for ourselves or our children or our grandchildren that we are doing it for but for the generations after them.
