Thames Water sees profits soar

Thames Water has come under fire after announcing a 31 per cent hike in profits while losing 894 million litres of water a day through leakage. The company posted pre-tax profits of Â£346.5 million, saying it was pleased to deliver a good set of results "in the face of a challenging year".
