Do you know that your local council sell compost bins at a fraction of the DIY shops? I have thought of making my own garden compost for some years now, but the price of compost bins at my local DIY store has always put me off. A friend of mine told me to contact my local council on line via a web search. Wow i am now the proud owner of a compost bin. They can even have offers on to actually give away a new bin for no cost at certain times of the year.
