O: Toyota Carina II FREE

This has been a great car but for some reason it suddenly won't start up. As we really can't be bothered to fix it and as we wanted a smaller car instead, we decided to offer the car for free to anyone who think they can fix the starting problem or simply for spares.
It is F-reg, runs on petrol, has 104,000 miles on the clock and the MOT is due in May. It has central locking, electric sunroof and electric mirrors.

We own one of these cars and need a few parts especially a plastic radiator grille. The problem is that it probably wouldn't be practical for us to take away the whole car unless it could be started. We live in Worcs and have family near Ellerdine, Telford and I was wondering if you have given it away yet to a member or scap merchant.

In other words does somebody in your area now have it who is likely to break it for spares, from whom whe could buy a grille? It seems hard to gt Toyota Carina II parts these days as that model finished in 1991.

If you do still have the car and it CAN be started then we would be pleased to have the whole car but sadly I am not a mechanic!!!

Hi Dave.
Yes the car has gone already. It went to my next door neighbour who's a bit of a mechanic. He has got the car started and is fixing it up. I'm not sure but it sounds like he intends to sell it.
