Recycling saves goods from going to landfill and makes us think more about the 'throw-away' culture of today. When I was younger, I used to be embarrassed that my dad was the type to get 'useful' things out of skips and ask the neighbours if he could have their old double glazing!
Now I'm proud of him and follow his example.
